History
In 1969 Center Manufacturing was formed as a metal stamping company serving the automotive and consumer electronics industries.
During the 1980's and 1990's, Center Manufacturing expanded its manufacturing capabilities to become a leading supplier to the consumer electronics industry, providing tubular metal frames for major television manufacturers such as Sony. Center also established relationships with industry-leading manufacturers of ATVs, motorcycles and automobiles (notably, Honda in 1988) to produce complex welded assemblies and components.
In December of 2006, IOP acquired Center Manufacturing and immediately refocused the company’s growth strategy on the commercial vehicle, power sports, agricultural and industrial markets.
